Terms of Use

Version 0.1 (review draft) · Last updated 2026-09-29

This document is a review draft. It describes how the service works today, but the operator details and some legal decisions are still being confirmed.

These terms explain how you may use Make Their Days. They sit alongside the rights you have under consumer law, which they never limit.

The service

Make Their Days lets you build a calendar of doors with surprises, challenges and small moments, and send it to someone through a personal link. Doors open on a schedule. Making a calendar is currently free.

Who can use it

You need a valid email address to create an account. Use the service only if you are able to agree to these terms, and only send calendars to people who would welcome them.

Your content

What you write and upload stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to store it, show it to the people you choose and run the service. We never use private calendar content for advertising or unrelated purposes.

Play fair

  • Only upload content you have the right to use.
  • Respect the privacy and consent of everyone involved — don’t include other people’s photos or personal details without their OK.
  • No harassment, threats, illegal content, or content that sexualises minors.
  • Don’t try to access calendars or accounts that aren’t yours.

Personal links and sharing

Keep personal links private — anyone with the link can open the calendar. If a recipient shares a calendar, the share link shows a frozen copy to whoever receives it. Think before you share.

Support and availability

We work to keep the service running well, but it may occasionally be unavailable or change. We will not promise features that don’t exist.

Ending use

You can stop using the service and delete your calendars at any time. We may suspend accounts or remove content that breaks these terms, and will act proportionately.

Responsibility

Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that cannot be limited by law, or your mandatory consumer rights.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we update the version and date above. Significant changes will be communicated before they apply.
